As a Technical Sales Assistant / Estimator, you will contribute to the creation of competitive tenders and estimates for structural and architectural glazing projects. You will actively engage in lead generation through various channels and assist in bid preparation. Your responsibilities will include, producing estimates, researching cost data, collaborating with stakeholders, and participating in meetings and events. Providing excellent customer service is a priority, and you will work to maintain positive client relations by suggesting improvements. You will also manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines, maintain accurate records, and handle general office duties, with a focus on lead generation and sales within a CRM platform.

Hours of Work: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Technical Sales Assistant Requirements:

  • Proactive Team Player
  • Proficient use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, Adobe, etc. Excellent customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a good command of the English Language.
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform well to meet the required targets and deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Business acumen
  • Basic CAD knowledge and ability to read technical drawings.
  • An interest in digital marketing.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset / Positive ‘Can-do’ Mentality. Persuasion & negotiation skills.
  • Career-minded – potential for growth within the company (Team Leader / Senior Estimator etc) Own LinkedIn Account – or the ability to run a company LinkedIn account / Social Media Accounts

INSTALLER / FITTER

Location: London & Surrounding Counties, Waltham Abbey, Essex
Salary: Based on experience £25k – £45k
Job Type: 30-40hrs per week

We are currently seeking a glass installer to join our fitting team.

The right candidate will be working alongside an experienced installation team, in and around London, for our family run business based in Waltham Abbey.

Main duties of the installer will include installation of glass systems within multiple applications, including structural glazing, balustrading, showers, bathrooms, mirrors and partitioning.

This is an ideal opportunity for a conscientious person who is looking to learn new skills or perfect old ones.

Preferred but not essential requirements of the applicant:

  • Glazing, metal work or carpentry skills preferred
  • Good all-round knowledge of glass handling
  • Reading detailed drawings and work to the specifications and quality required
  • Working using on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Familiar with using silicone, mastics and other adhesives

Essential requirements of the applicant:

  • Positive, problem solving, and conscientious working attitude
  • Willingness to learn and works well within a team
  • Punctual and good time keeping skills
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Good communication skills
  • Will need small amount of hand tools
